The cost of air travel has fallen considerably and it is more common for people to travel abroad for holidays and indeed take holidays. Travel, Tourism & Hospitality is one of the largest industries in the world and continuously growing. The industry provides many areas of employment including hotels, restaurants, travel companies, airlines, cruises, airports, travel agencies and many others. The work is varied, diverse, international in scope and provide opportunities for flexible working, competitive pay and travel opportunities. The positions individuals can aspire to, are restaurant manager, hotel manager, flight attendants, travel agency staff amongst many.
At LAMS the Tourism Department offers programmes are designed by CTH (Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality) and provide a pathway to progress to a British Bachelors degree in Tourism and Hospitality. Classes are taught in an interactive manner and a caring and supportive environment.
