BSc (Honours) in Business Computing and Information Systems

The BSc (Honours) Business Computing & Information Systems programme will provide you with the necessary knowledge and practical skills in key business fundamentals and computing technology to enable you to make a major contribution to the future success of businesses. You will learn about computing and information systems as applied in business and commerce. The emphasis of the programme is not on either pure computer science or business management. Instead the two are linked together to provide you with the skills, knowledge and insight needed to design crucial business systems for the future.

Level of Qualification
All Bachelor programmes in the UK follow a system whereby on completion the student achieves a qualification at level 6 of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).

Entry Requirements
On entry a student must have at least one of the following:
 
At least one 'A' Level pass or an appropriate School Leaver's Certificate.
 
Vocational experience which is deemed suitable by NCC Education.
  The NCC Education International Foundation Year (IFY) or International Certificate in Computer Studies (ICCS) or equivalent.
Applicants whose first language is not English will need: EITHER
 
The required minimum result in the NCC Education Higher English Placement Test (HEPT), OR
 
IELTS 5.0 or equivalent

Students taking this programme will be equipped with both technical skills in computing together with an appreciation of business and management issues which will enable them to design and implement effective business systems.
