This programme is designed for IT and computing
graduates or IT practitioners who wish to further
develop their career. The programme covers a
wide range of contemporary issues and develops
the critical, analytical and technical skills
needed by senior staff. The programme will also
develop the academic skills required for further
study.
If you would like to integrate management and
IT skills, prepare yourself for new developments
in business, and equip yourself with knowledge
highly relevant to emerging technologies, this
programme is ideal. It will enable you to bridge
the gap between business and IT practitioners,
ensuring you are fully conversant with the language
of e-business and possess the transferable skills
necessary to enhance your career opportunities.

This qualification is at level 7 of the National

Entry Requirements
On
entry a student must have at least one of the
following:
Route 1 (Academic - IT
Graduates)

UK bachelor's degree with honours (or
equivalent) in Information Technology,
Computer Science or related subject. |
Route
1a (Academic - IT graduates with non-honours
degrees)

IT graduates who hold a bachelor's ordinary
or pass-level degree (or equivalent)
in Information Technology or related
subject with exceptionally high marks
may be considered for admission, at
the discretion of NCC Education. |
Route
2 (Mixed - other graduates)

UK bachelor's degree with honours in
a non-IT related subject (or equivalent)
AND |

Three years' work experience in an IT
environment. |
Route
3 (Vocational - IT professionals, mostly part-time)

Five years' work experience in an IT

The ability to demonstrate suitability
for academic study, via personal or
telephone interview with the programme
co-ordinator at the student's Accredited
partner Centre. |
Applicants

an IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent.

Programme Structure
The
programme is taught over one academic year consisting
of two semesters of full time study plus revision
time. Students will study a minimum of two modules
in each semester.

qualification is designed to allow entry
to and/or enhance progression in a wide
range of management roles in the public,
private or charitable sectors.
Students can apply to progress to a
range of Masters programmes at the University
of Gloucestershire and the University
of Warwick along with a number of other
UK and overseas Universities. The degree
titles available include MSc Applied
Computing, MSc Information Systems Management
and MSc Strategic Business IT.
On successful completion of this programme,
students should have the project management
skills required for IT consultancy and
strategic decision making. |
