The Advanced Diploma builds on the principles
taught in the Diploma in Hotel Management and
aims to elaborate on the decision making principles
and leadership qualities applied by managers
and senior management. This programme aims to
provide students with a broad understanding
of the operational aspects of the international
hotel industry and knowledge of the underlying
management principles involved. The programme
will also develop critical thinking and places
a strong emphasis on business administration
concepts

This qualification is at level 5 of the National
Qualifications Framework
Entry Requirements

The standard requirement is a good secondary
education consisting of A-Levels or
equivalent to A-levels. In some cases
we can accept qualifications equivalent
to 5 very high GCSEs. |

Programme Structure
The
programme is taught over 12 Months and consists
of two semesters of full time study plus revision
time. Students will study a minimum of three
modules in each semester.

module is assessed via a 2.5-hour written
exam invigilated and graded by CTH.
Ongoing, informal assessment is made
by class tutors during the course of
each module and may take the form of
tutorial interviews, written assignments
or mock exams. |

can proceed to the final year of a degree
programme at a UK University, suitable
programmes include the BA (Honours)
Tourism & Hospitality Management.
