To
make the most of your time in London you will need
comfortable and safe surroundings, somewhere that
you can return to after a hard day of studying, somewhere
that you can call home. The Student Accommodation
Service is here to help you to find the right accommodation
for you. Working as part of the Student Accommodation
Service, there is a dedicated member of staff to help
international students with all accommodation related
issues. Our guide ‘Accommodation Information
for International Students’ can be sent to you
on request from the Accommodation Service. In it you
will find useful information on the types of accommodation
available.
Some
three-quarters of our accommodation is within 10 or
15 minutes' walk of the Academy: a situation unrivalled
by few other Colleges or Universities in London.
Demand
for accommodation exceeds availability, particularly
at the time of application as we are not certain whether
each student will receive a visa for study in the
UK. Therefore we offer rooms to more than one student
and it is offered on a first come first served basis. |
|
We
advise that all students on receiving a visa should
contact the Academy and confirm
their accommodation.
If the accommodation is not available then an alternative
will be found. Regardless of whether the accommodation
is available or not, the Academy will require
payment before confirming your accommodation.
This ensures that all students who intend to take
up accommodation offered by the Academy, do so and
assists those students who genuinely want to take
up accommodation.
Accommodation in London can be difficult to arrange
from overseas, we advise you to carefully read the
information we have provided and ask us questions
if you need to.
Remember
that the Student Accommodation Service is here to
help you, throughout your time studying at London
Academy of Management Sciences. So please do not
hesitate to contact us with any accommodation related
question or problem.
You are advised
not to arrive in London without some form of accommodation
arranged in advance.
